Plan-reading guide
What to Look for on the Latest Master Plan
A master plan is more useful when you connect it to the plot you may actually purchase. Ask for the latest dated plan and use it to understand access, plot position and the relationship with common areas.
Road & entry network
Identify the main entry, internal road hierarchy and the route from the entrance to the selected plot.
Plot position
Match the inventory number with the plan and note corner status, orientation and nearby common areas.
Common spaces
Check where planned amenities, open areas and other shared features sit in relation to the shortlisted plot.
Do not rely on an undated plan. Ask for the latest version and make sure the plot number in your cost sheet appears on the same layout you review.
